风车草属 Graptopetalum 也叫做石莲花属，不过景天科的属带石莲的貌似有几个了，这里为了以后大家不那么容易混淆，还是称为 风车草属 。风车草属 Graptopetalum 常绿多年生草本植物或灌木，株高60-90厘米左右，叶子多汁，几乎没有茎，叶子都在根基部重叠生长，形成一个美丽的莲花座形状。大约一共20个物种，该属有两个种生长在美国的亚利桑那州他它们分别是 Graptopetalum bartramii 和 Graptopetalum rusbyi 。其他分布在墨西哥海拔2400米左右的索诺拉州和奇瓦瓦州地区。属名由 美国的 Joseph Nelson Rose 命名，他来自印第安纳州。印第安纳州和最近自杀爆炸频繁的叙利亚有着微妙的关系，这是美国最近频繁关注叙利亚的缘故，又扯天边去了。
